I found this picture today and realized this was me a year ago. Huge and ready to pop. With all this pregnancy talk I was thinking about mine with Allie and thought i should write about it or it will get forgotten.
I found out I was pregnant with Allie on Jan. 28th I was so excited when I found out.
I realized very early in my pregnancy that if I woke up before 9:30 and got out of bed I was sick the rest of the day. I learned to love this time in the morning. I would talk to Lou or My Mom but the best part was when I could start feeling Allie move. I would enjoy feeling her stretching to wake up too.
When I was first pregnant I couldn't wait to have a pregnant belly so people could tell I was pregnant and not just fat. For a long time I just looked fat and I kept praying to heavenly father that my belly would be showing by the time my brother got married. Well I got my wish I had a belly by the time Nik got married.
My cravings were very funny but I loved them all the same. Restaurant Ranch was my ultimate craving with Allie it was all I wanted Salad, Veggies or Anything with it. I finally bought a bottle of it at the Pie so I would have some at home. Mango's was the next new fab thing and it ended with Sticky Chicken which consists of Buffalo chicken, Chinese Chicken or BBQ chicken. The most powerful and wonderful craving I had and still have is SLUSHIES. They made and do make me so happy they are so refreshing and keep me cool. Lime are the best but when I was pregnant I would take any slushie I could get.
The one thing I will never and I mean never forget about my pregnancy with Allie was how swollen my feet were. They were huge. I was so scared that they would never be the same size again. They hurt so bad to walk or even move. I cried many times because of my feet.
My dreams when I was pregnant were very strange and silly the one I remember the most is what I call the Belly- vision dream. I had a dream that I was driving to go get my belly-vision and it took forever to get there when I got there they dressed me in a white robe looking dress and and walked to room where they rubbed my belly and put this plastic stuff on it then the woman put me in my car to send me on my way. I started to drive to my in-laws house for the unavailing party when I got there everyone was so excited and couldn't wait to see what the baby was so I sat in this special chair and then lifted the flap over my belly and yes I was a teletubbie. You could see what my baby was doing and what the gender was everyone loved to watch the baby and just when they were about to say what it was a boy or a girl I woke up....I had that dream two nights before my ultrasound.
