Allie Blanche

My little guiding light has come to my home. My sweet Allie was born on October 1 ,2006. She was wide awake when she came out of my belly. We call her bright eyes because she has to see everything and know whats going on. It surpised everyone who came to the hospital to see a newborn baby with her eyes so open. All the nurses in the nursery would come by my room and beg me to send her down there so they could play with her because she was so awake.

I Loved delivering at LDS hospital I would highly recommend it to anyone. I loved my nurses and the doctors who had to perform the C-section. They were all very wonderful to me and I felt very taken care of.

Doctor Peterson is such a wonderful doctor he makes me feel so safe and I loved that he thinks out loud it helped me to know what was going on in the OR. When they told me that my baby was brich and I was going to have to have a c-section they said that Dr. Peterson wasnt going to be coming because he couldnt perform the operation. I have to be honest I was really scared but then after they checked me and the baby and preped me for surgery there walks in Dr. Peterson and says " you werent going to do this without me were you" Right then I knew I was in good hands. The only thing that kept me calm during the sugery was Jason's hand and the inch of Dr. Peterson's garments showing through. Just knowing that there were two presthood holders there made me so much calmer.

Allie is now almost 2 months old she will be 2 months on Friday. She is my little cubby baby. I feel so blessed that she is a good eater because I know that is a struggle with many mothers. Allie is the biggest joy in life and I love watching her figure things out like how to use her hands and kick her blanket off she thinks she is so funny when she dose that. She loves to try and talk to people now and she smiles when she hears her name or someone says how beautiful she is. She knows she is gorgous! Somtimes when Allie is upset and nothing seems to calm her down all you have to do is take off her clothes and let her hang out in her diaper. She loves to be naked. She loves when I read to her. She likes to comment on every page.

I cant wait until the new little things she learns start happening. I love every moment with Allie . I feel so blessed to be her mom and to think how lucky I am that when she learns how to talk that I will be the one she calls Mom!
